Your Questions Answered: Important Messages from Cicis
Statement from William Mitchell, CEO, Cicis Enterprises/JMC Restaurant Distribution
This past year has no doubt been challenging for the entire restaurant industry and Cicis is not different. It has made us appreciate devoted customers more than ever. We’re optimistic in the direction we are headed and know it will carry us well beyond the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We thank you for your loyalty, and for continuing to enjoy Unlimited Pizza at your local Cicis restaurant or via delivery or curbside pickup during these unprecedented times.
Like many companies, the COVID-19 pandemic has applied unimaginable pressure and disruption to our business. To ensure the viability of our future, we entered voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings to better position our brand and to come out in a more stable place as a company.
This is not the end of Cicis. This is a new beginning.
This measures that we have taken do not impact our daily restaurant operations. Our locations will remain a welcome destination for friends and family to gather, now and into the future. Cicis franchise owners are as driven as ever to provide you with the Cicis experience that we’ve all come to know and love in our communities.
For more than 35 years, Cicis has been a symbol of the “Best Pizza Value Anywhere.” Chapter 11 is the process that fosters our company’s future. We see a bright future ahead as we expect to exit bankruptcy quickly and under new ownership with an experienced restaurant operations company and leadership team.
We are privileged to call you our guest and we look forward to seeing you again soon at one of our locations, or having our pizza, salads, wings and desserts dropped off at your home or work.
On behalf of the entire Cicis family, thank for your continued loyalty.
